Hello

It's a profound truth that our strength doesn't derive from the adversities we face but from the choices we make in their aftermath. Acknowledging this doesn't diminish the complexity and pain of life's losses; rather, it offers a perspective on overcoming and moving forward.

MOTHERHOOD and GRIEF is REAL and we need to talk about it.

In 2018, the unimaginable happened when we lost our daughter, Loey, at 39 weeks. This profound loss was not our first encounter with heartache; in 2013, we grieved the loss of our twins at 22 weeks. The years that followed were a labyrinth of infertility struggles, punctuated by miscarriages, countless ovulation tests, fertility-enhancing diets, supplements, acupuncture, IVF treatments, and Chinese herbal medicine.

The journey took a turn when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and a blood clotting issue after losing our twins. It propelled me into a phase of profound self-discovery and healing, learning to understand and cater to my body's needs—even if that means being the one who always opts for gluten-free pasta.

Life, with its constant flux, saw us moving frequently due to my husband's career. Each relocation brought the daunting challenge of finding a new community, each time starting from scratch.

The loss of Loey was a pivotal moment. My soul felt shattered, and amidst a breakdown, I faced a critical question: "What do I do now?" Battling PTSD, trapped by limiting beliefs, and enveloped in trauma, I made a choice.

I decided to redefine my existence, embracing my narrative to support and inspire others who might be navigating similar tumultuous waters. Our journey led us to the miraculous path of surrogacy, culminating in the blessing of our baby boy. He is a testament to love's enduring presence, bringing immense joy and healing. He doesn't replace the children we lost but enriches our lives in unimaginable ways.

If my story touches something within you, I invite you to connect. Together, we can share in the journey of healing, support, and finding new beginnings in the face of loss.

As a writer, speaker, and coach, my mission extends far beyond merely offering guidance; it's about advocacy, support, and normalization of the complex emotions surrounding infertility trauma, nervous system regulation, and the challenging journey through grief and pain in a world often unprepared to face them.

My work is rooted in the belief that every experience of loss, struggle, or pain deserves validation and understanding. In a society that sometimes shies away from the realities of grief and discomfort, I stand as an ally to those feeling unseen and unheard. I'm here to affirm that your feelings and experiences are valid, significant, and worthy of acknowledgment.

Navigating a world indifferent to grief and pain can be isolating, but you don't have to walk this path alone. Together, we can explore the depths of your experiences, embracing healing and transformation at your own pace. Let's embark on this journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and advocacy, forging a path towards a more compassionate and understanding world.
